Chelsea strolls into the fourth round of the FA Cup after they eased past League one side Scunthorpe United. Thanks to goals from Diego Costa and and substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the first and second half of play respectively.
Guus Hiddink is now enjoying a fine start of his campaign at Chelsea and still on the unbeaten run. The manager name a strong squad against the League one side, although big names like Eden Hazard were omitted due to injury while John Terry, Matic and Courtois where all on the bench. Things paid off as Diego Costa out muscled the Scunthorpe defender to nod home Ivanovic Cross at 13minutes of play. They later add to their score line when Loftus-Cheek replacing Oscar headed home a after a fine control.
The result moves Chelsea to fourth round of the competition with draws coming later on.
