Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise has been linked with both Manchester United and Liverpool and as Football365 reports, United are in the driving seat to acquire Olise in the summer.
It was even last month reported by football365 that the United board had all agreed on Olise being the first signing of this INEOS era.
Chelsea had last summer activated his then. release clause of £35 million before Olise decided to stay at Selhurst park and signed a new contract with the 65 million pounds release clause.
Olise is a lifelong fan of United which spells bad news for all involved except The Red Devils.
Manchester United view Olise as the perfect upgrade and replacement for Antony who has been very underwhelming since his signing two years ago.
Antony who was signed for close to a hundred million quid has contributed only one assist in 25 Premier League appearances this season further reiterating how necessary it is for United to sign a proper winger this summer.
The reason behind the Merseyside Liverpool’s interest in Olise could be the impending departure of Mo Salah from the club as he enters the final year of his contract amid a lot of interest from Saudi clubs.
It stands to reason the Merseyside club may be tempted to cash in on Salah soon lest they risk losing him for free after his contract expires next summer.
Olise has massive struggled with injuries this campaign but he has continued to play rather well, contributing nine goals in just 12 appearances, which has made him a sought-after transfer target.
