Yesterday, 12 April witnessed the successful screening of CRS lndependent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) members by Speaker John Gaul Lebo's Cross River State House of Assembly (CRSHA).
The six nominees granted confirmation for formal appointment as members of the State Independent Electoral Commission includes:
1. Dr. Mike Anake Ushie —Chairman (0banliku)
2. Mr. Matthew Ucheche—Member (0banliku)
3. Barr. Eddy Morphy Idom —Member (Ogoja)
4. Barr. Joe Nandi —Member (Boki)
5. Mr Neji Abang —Member (Ikom)
6. Dr. Yakmeodoho Namowonso Yakmeodoho —Member (Odukpani)
The Hon. Speaker of CRSHA, Rt.Hon. JOHN GAUL LEBO advised them to uphold equity, be firm and fair to all, and above all eschew partisanship.
Also, in Tuesday plenary, Mr Henry Asikong Eyong was confirmed as Chairman of CRS Sport Council.
