So, we’re finally getting the lowdown on what caused the split between Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard. These two, who ended their engagement last summer, had a major blowout after Lindsay questioned Carl’s sobriety. This all went down during the Feb. 29 episode of Summer House.
The drama kicked off in an Uber, of all places. The cast was en route to a bar-hopping session in the Hamptons. “She looked at me, we’re like this close, she’s like, ‘What are you on?’” Carl shared in a confessional. “I’m like, ‘Nothing, what are you talking about?’”
Kyle Cooke, another cast member, was just as taken aback by Lindsay’s accusation. In his own confessional, he said, “I can’t even put into words how quickly Lindsay went from zero to 100.”
Amanda Batula, on the other hand, remembered Lindsay voicing her worries. However, the rest of the cast didn’t seem to share Lindsay’s concerns. “He’s on something,” Amanda recalled Lindsay saying. “He’s so mean to me, I can’t do this. I think he’s on something.”
Once they hit the bar, Lindsay didn’t stick around. She immediately headed back to their rental house with her BFF, Gabby Prescod. There, she continued to express her suspicions about her then-fiancé. “Something’s going on with him,” she insisted. “The way he spoke to me tonight was very reminiscent of Carl on cocaine. I don’t know what happened with him, but he was not sober tonight.”
