Lily's battle theme Diosa Del Sol released for Street Fighter 6
We’re starting to wind down a bit in terms of what Capcom has left to show in terms of content and characters for Street Fighter 6 before its launch, but that doesn’t mean they’re done yet.
Capcom just released the full version of Lily’s battle theme for SF6, which they’ve titled Diosa Del Sol.
Since she hails from Mexico, the title is unsurprisingly in Spanish and translates to Goddess of the Sun, which is a bit interesting considering her whole gimmick is based around the wind.
The song certainly does not shy away from its Latin inspirations with the horns, percussion, acoustic guitar and more instruments coming together along with a little techno beat since this is Street Fighter.
You’d think that Lily coming from the Thunderfoot Tribe that her music would be taking more than a few queues from T. Hawk’s old themes, but we’re not really hearing that much aside from the instrument arrangement of his Street Fighter 4 song.
Now that we’ve got Lily’s music on the books, it just leaves Cammy as the last character yet to have their full theme, which is starting to make it sink in that SF6 is now getting pretty darn close to releasing.
Capcom just released Zangief’s theme last week, and they’ve of course also previously posted up the music for JP’s The Plunderer, Manon’s Walk with Grace, Marisa’s Pankration and Dee Jay’s All Right in case you missed any of those.
With Lily’s theme arrival, however, we may have to rethink our picks for the top 5 picks for SF6’s best character themes.
You can check out the full music we’ll be hearing for Lily in Street Fighter 6 when it arrives on June 2 below.
