Bandai Namco is about to kick off their next big info drop for Tekken 8. Tonight, the company is going to be running another one of their special Tekken Talk Live presentations that this time will be focused on upcoming DLC character Lidia Sobieska.
The show is set to begin at 8 p.m. PT / 11 p.m. ET. Though we don’t have an exact run time for how long this show will be, we do know that the last live stream presentation featuring Eddy Gordo ran for about two hours, so we can expect a good amount of fun here tonight.
The Tekken Talk broadcast is slated to feature the Tekken team’s own Katsuhiro Harada, Michael Murray, Kohei “Nakatsu” Ikeda, and Yasuda Esports. These are the same developers and representatives that participated in the Eddy Gordo Tekken Talk as well.
As far as what we’ll be learning during this presentation tonight, the big expectation from fans is that Bandai Namco might finally reveal Lidia’s official release date. Despite seeing her officially revealed and having a full gameplay trailer for her released, the folks behind Tekken 8 still have yet to divulge when players will actually be able to purchase and play as Lidia.
Earlier today, Bandai Namco put out a character guide video for Lidia through IGN to further provide details on how she plays. Once again, no release date was given at this time.
Outside of a potential date for Lidia, it is also possible that the Tekken 8 developers might discuss upcoming changes to the game, as well as any quality of life improvements they might be making in the near future. During these presentations, the developers often share insight into their design processes as well, and provide additional behind the scenes details about the game.
