On Behalf of members the Leadership and Members of National Youth Council of Calabar South. An umbrella body of the entire youth , We congratulate you on your Nomination/ emergence as Commissioner.
Your victory is a victory for all youth irrespective of political affiliation as it shows that the hand of the Almighty God is truly on our dear Local Government. May your renowned brilliance not be eclipsed by greed and quest for selfish and personal aggrandizement. Your emergence is a major pointer that politics today is tilting towards meritocracy and not god-fatherism.
You appointment against several qualified fellow whom I am confident also has the best interest of Cross River State at heart in offering up themselves for service and I believe they will continue to put the interest of our State first in all their actions.
Your campaign slogan of Rebuild Calabar south is one which encapsulates the whole yearning of the masses and we expect that you will hit the ground running as you face this daunting task. The task ahead is enormous but the fact that you have goodwill from across board should make the task a bit easy for you and we hope that you will use this goodwill to make calabar south proud of you.
Let your word be your bond. Let there be a positive difference seen and felt across the LGA. The best way to thank Almighty God for this mandate is by giving out your best shot and delivering on your potentials.
We want to respectfully remind you that you are here to represent Calabar South graciously.. We urge you to dare to be different. A lot of trust and confidence has been bestowed upon you and we expect that you do not disappoint.
