Lenny Kravitz recently opened up about his daughter Zoë’s relationship with Channing Tatum. He’s pretty chill about it, just letting love do its thing.
He’s won a Grammy, but now he’s sharing some insight into his daughter’s love life. Not just that, but he’s also talking about his own bond with her future husband.
“He’s a great guy,” Lenny spilled the beans to Sherri Shepherd on her show, Sherri. It aired on March 21.
Lenny and Channing? They’re tight. They’ve got their own bromance going on. They hang, they chat.
Channing’s got soul, according to Lenny. He’s a well-brought-up guy, full of manners and class.
The first time they met? It felt “very natural” to Lenny. He could see why Channing and Zoë clicked.
Channing’s got a 10-year-old daughter, Everly, with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan. Zoë was previously hitched to Karl Glusman. But Lenny sees why they’re a match now.
“He’s very sweet, it works,” Lenny said. He’s even ready to give a father-of-the-bride speech at the wedding. “It works. Life is about timing and what you’ve gone through, what you’ve learned and they’re in the right place.”
