Manchester United have juts been dealt another blow, as another of their bids is rejected.
The Red Devils are actively pursuing Lecce’s Patrick Dorgu, with the left-back being Ruben Amorim’s preferred defensive target.
The Portuguese manager relies on attacking wing-backs in his system, with Dorgu fitting this brief perfectly.
As such, United representatives travelled to Italy this week to try and iron out a deal.
The talks reportedly went well, with United launching a bid of £25 million (€30 million) for the Denmark international.
Unfortunately now, Fabrizio Romano has reported that the revised bid isn’t enough to seal the deal.

Manchester United have Patrick Dorgu bid rejected
Lecce have now rejected United’s revised bid, refusing to move on their asking price for the talented wing-back.
The Italian club are holding out for £33 million (€40 million) for their star, seeing a difference in valuation of only £8 million.
The Italian club understand that Dorgu’s future may lie elsewhere, however, with him contracted until 2029, the Serie A side are in no rush to sell their 20-year-old.
With four more years on his contract, there is no pressure for Lecce to sell the left-back, with the club happy to wait until the summer for the full valuation that they want for his services.
Lecce board insist on €40m package for Patrick Dorgu to Man United or he won’t be allowed to leave in January.
The Italian club hope to keep the player until the summer unless valuation is met.
