Purpose of Position:
To learn how to process specimens according to set criteria and standards on all benches in the Genetics Laboratory.
Requirements:
BSc Degree (Hons) in appropriate discipline (Genetics, Human Genetics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Haematology, Forensic Genetics) (Required)
Required Experience:
Exposure to a laboratory environment
Key Responsibilities:
Complete and submit an appropriate portfolio of evidence to the HPCSA within the required timeframe., Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath., Perform accreditation and Quality Control related tasks to ensure standards are upheld., Receive and process specimens in order to ensure efficient delivery of results.
