Arc System Works has unveiled the next fighter set to join Guilty Gear Strive Season 3. Legacy character A.B.A makes a grand return in the latest entry of the series, and she’s got some new tricks up her sleeves this time around.
A new gameplay overview showcase has been released as a follow-up to her reveal trailer, and this new video details everything you need to know about the character to get started.
In Guilty Gear Strive, A.B.A has a very powerful mode that she can enter into by meeting certain criteria in a match. Her “Jealous Rage” mode grants her better movement, and a large portion of her various attacks gain different properties.
To get into Jealous Rage, A.B.A has to fill her jealousy meter, and whenever there is some gauge available she can manually switch herself into Jealous Rage. She also has several attacks that, when she lands them, will put her into the powered up mode.
When it comes to playing A.B.A in Guilty Gear Strive, the general gameplan will revolve around gaining jealousy gauge. Once you make the switch, you’ll want to go in on the opponent and lock them down with her overwhelming offense.
This gameplay showcase runs viewers through her various attacks, how they function, and how to use them. It also goes further into detail about how she should be played and what overall strategies work best for her.
A.B.A, the game’s next DLC character, is joining the Guilty Gear Strive cast on March 27.
