Learn Terry Bogard's max damage combo, Super fake, stylish sequences and more in this day 1 Street Fighter 6 round up

The highly anticipated Terry Bogard is officially in Street Fighter 6 as Capcom released SNK’s most popular Fatal Fury/King of Fighters icon early Tuesday morning.

The community has wasted no time at all digging into Terry’s abilities and seeing what the Legendary Wolf is capable of, which is already a lot. We’ve rounded up quick clips of Terry tech, both for practical and entertainment purposes, so you can get an idea of what the Terry experience will be like.

First thing’s first, HiFight was quick to explore and see if Terry’s traditional Buster Wolf into Buster Wolf juggle was possible in Street Fighter 6. It is, and so those who have long played the character in games like King of Fighters and Capcom vs. SNK 2 will immediately feel right at home playing him now.

One of the first things people tend to sniff out when a new character drops is their maximum damage potential. We’ve seen plenty of combos that do more than 6k thus far, but none that reach quite as high as this 6,993 damage one from Jahzz0. It requires a Drive Rush punish counter start, full resources and the corner (also NSFW language warning):

For those that don’t yet know, Terry is capable of performing an extension to his Super 2 (Power Geyser) by spending another bar of meter once he begins the ground pound animation. If you don’t have enough meter and still input the follow up, however, he’ll go into a fake Geyser animation. Capcom really went the extra mile to add all the bells and whistles to this DLC guest:

Up next we see how Terry can go coast to coast as he carries Ryu from one corner to the other with a powerful sequence that doles out over 50% damage. The ending sees the SNK rep go from Power Geyser into Buster Wolf, which should make long time fans happy to see.

The fighting game community’s most creative combo connoisseur, Desk, offers us a sample from his Terry video. He’s already figured out a handful of style combos and surprising series, some of which are on display here:

The references run deep with this character, and it seems Capcom included a old infinite from Fatal Fury 3. Don’t worry, it’s not an infinite on hit this time, but instead a sequence that you can use to lock down foes in Burnout and lop off a crazy 30% of their life from chip. You can use a frame 1 Super reversal to escape, but good luck landing that hit:

We also discovered this little juggle extender. It’s not the easiest to get micro walks just right, but having this in your back pocket could easily be the difference between closing out a round or giving your opponent another chance to survive:

Have you had a chance to check out Terry in Street Fighter 6 yet? He’s already looking extremely promising as a fun and powerful new addition to the roster, and the community is sure to discover tons more with him in the coming hours, days, and weeks.
