We are seeking an experienced Consumer Insights & Analytics Lead to drive data-driven decision-making through delivering timely and actionable consumer and marketplace insights. In this role, you will design and implement research projects, analyze key findings, and guide decision-makers using deep consumer and market knowledge. The role is based in Cape Town.
Your day to day
Craft and implement research studies to support business objectives
Lead analysis and interpretation of data, presenting actionable insights and recommendations
Optimize market research processes, including research briefs, supplier selection, methodologies, and analysis, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality results from leading agencies
Extract, analyze, and synthesize data with a strong emphasis on strategic business priorities
Conduct additional analyses by integrating data from various studies to improve consumer and market understanding
Generate and contextualize insights, translating them into clear recommendations for business action
Stay up to date with the latest market research innovations, ensuring the use of advanced methodologies for capturing relevant consumer and brand insights
Collaborate with other markets to share knowledge, findings, and standard methodologie
Who we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
A minimum of 7 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, business intelligence, analytics
Experience with a diverse set of both qualitative and quantitative research tools
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Google Analytics) and techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in written and spoken English
