LBW Community College has announced its annual Student Art Exhibition, showcasing the creativity and talent of students in drawing, painting, and mixed media. The Exhibition will be held in the McWhorter Learning Resource Center art gallery on the Andalusia campus and will be open to the public from April 24 through May 1, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily.
An opening reception will take place on Thursday, April 24 from 4 to 5:30 p.m., where attendees can meet the artists, engage in discussions about their creative processes, and enjoy refreshments while admiring the diverse collection of artwork.
This exhibition serves as a testament to the dedication and artistic growth of LBW’s students, providing the community with an opportunity to support and celebrate emerging artists. The showcase will feature a variety of works developed throughout the academic year, offering a glimpse into the creative journey of each student.
LBW faculty said they invite the community to experience the exceptional talent of our students and witness the dynamic and expressive works they have created.
“This event is not only a celebration of their hard work but also an opportunity for the community to engage with and support the arts,” said Misti Purvis, LBW Art Instructor.
Admission is free and all are welcome to attend. For more information, contact Misti Purvis at mpurvis@lbwcc.edu or 334-881-2250.
