Manchester United head to London to face an in-form Palace side who have won 3 of their last 4 Premier League matches including a monumental victory over Liverpool.

Erik ten Hag’s side on the other hand goes into the game with only one win in the last 6 league ties.

Just when things seemed to be getting better for ten Hag with regard to injuries, it’s all going downhill again as it was confirmed United’s only fit senior center back Harry Maguire suffered a muscle injury and will be consequently be out for Palace’s match and up to 3 weeks on the sidelines.

That leaves the United manager with very fickle options in the back with zero recognized first team fit center backs.

A bigger blow is to be expected in the form of captain Bruno whom ten Hag confirmed picked up an issue after the Burnley game.

It is however worth mentioning that the Skipper always finds a way to be fit with astonishing availability for the club.

“After the [Burnley] game, we had an issue with Bruno. He is a doubt for Monday. We all know Bruno, never rule him out for any game, he will do his best to be available,” ten Hag told reporters.

Other doubts for the game are midfielder Scott McTominay who only returned to training on Saturday and facea a race against time to be fit for Monday night’s clash.

The manager also confirmed Marcus Rashford is a major doubt as he has only made little progress in recovering from the ankle issue he picked up in that wild FA Cup clash against Coventry City.

Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez have returned to training but there is little chance they will participate.

Jonny Evans has also made his return and participated in team training but he may be forced to start on account of Maguire’s injury.

Long term absentee Anthony Martial has also made his return to team training but there is no confirmation of his participation.

Predicted Man Utd XI: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Evans, Casemiro, Dalot; Mainoo, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Garnacho; Hojlund
