THE JOB AT A GLANCE:
Contract Duration: Permanent
To strive for quality products and processes which consistently meet product specifications by carrying out accurate testing in the laboratory using specialised equipment, correctly handling and treating samples, accurately recording results and data, monitor and maintain compliance with legislation, maintain the highest standard of food safety for products.

Fundamental understanding of physical and chemical analytical methods and equipment
Self-motivated
Good organization skills and attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills – ability to interact with all levels of plant personnel in a positive manner
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Reasoning ability to interpret test results
Verbal and written communication skills in English
Mathematical skills: Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control helpful
Knowledge of GMP’s, CCP’s, SoP’s and HACCP would be beneficial
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma in Natural Sciences (food Technology or Biotechnology)
TQM/ Advanced Diploma would be advantageous
Sound working knowledge of the MS Office suits (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
