SAN JOSE – Maybe Kylie Jenner was really impressed with what Mike Grier did this summer as general manager of the San Jose Sharks.

Or at the very least, she might have just given the Sharks their next slogan.

Jenner, who can be considered one of social media’s biggest influencers, posted photos and a short video of herself on Thursday with shocking waves of her new teal-colored hair.

“Teal the end of time,” Jenner wrote on her Instagram account, which has a staggering 397 million followers.

Jenner also showed off her new look on her TikTok account, which has over 56 million followers.

The Instagram post by Jenner, a natural brunette, was liked by over 1.5 million people as of early Thursday, and the Sharks were all too happy to respond on X with a photo of the 25-year-old, writing, “Right there with you, Kylie.”

Of course, it’s highly debatable whether Jenner has suddenly become a Sharks fan, or a hockey fan at all.

The Los Angeles native and her older sister, Kendall, have attended multiple Los Angeles Lakers games, sitting courtside at what is now Crypto.com Arena. However, it was not immediately clear whether she has attended any games played by the Los Angeles Kings, also tenants of the facility.

Also, Jenner has changed her hair color twice before this year, posting pictures of herself with bubblegum pink hair in January and platinum blond hair in June. She had lavender-colored hair in 2019.

In May, Forbes listed Jenner’s net worth at $710 million. She founded Kylie Cosmetics, a company she sold 51% of to publicly traded Coty, Inc. in Jan. 2020 for $600 million. Per Forbes, Jenner earned roughly $540 million from the sale, pretax.

Whether Jenner noticed or not, Grier made several moves this offseason to help the Sharks become a more competitive team than in 2023-24, when they finished with a 19-54-9 record.
