King of Fighters 15 version 2.32 patch notes

Patch notes for King of Fighters 15 version 2.32 have been released. Those within the Street Fighter 6 community have mused on X (formerly known as Twitter) how SNK were able to release their patch notes before Capcom, being that fans are currently waiting for the Street Fighter 6 Season 2 patch notes.

Regardless, the latest patch has provided adjustments to just two characters in King of Fighters 15 — Kukri and Kim Kaphwan. What’s interesting is that these two combatants are generally perceived to be very middle of the road in Season 2 of King of Fighters 15 in that they’re not too strong or too weak in the current meta.

For Kukri, adjustments were made specifically for his Guard Cancel Blow Back, Shatter Strike, and Advance Strike. For all of these actions, Kukri’s pushbox has been expanded backwards.

This has been done to resolve the issue in which Kukri would pass through opponents under specific circumstances. Technically speaking, this seems like it’s probably a buff as it will add more consistency to using these options.

As for Kim, combo scaling values were reduced for his Houou Hiten Kyaku, both for the normal version and MAX version. Effectively, this seems to imply that his combos that involve this special move will deal a little extra damage.
