It’s wild to think that the Killer Instinct reboot is about to turn 10 years old, and it seems like those who’ve worked on the game have something special in store for that big birthday.
Iron Galaxy Studios announced tonight that they’ll be holding a 10th anniversary live stream event for Killer Instinct next week to talk about the upcoming update and more.
As stated in their online post, the stream is scheduled to take place next Wednesday, November 22, at 1 p.m. PST / 4 p.m. EST.
Back at Evo 2023, Iron Galaxy and Xbox Studios surprised the FGC with the reveal that KI would be receiving one more update to celebrate the game and its continued support through the community.
While we don’t know what exactly will be contained within, they did state the update will feature proper 4K resolution support for the Xbox Series X|S, matchmaking upgrades and presumably the first balance adjustments to the fighters in years.
The developers will also likely reveal when the 10th anniversary update will be releasing since before they only said it’d be coming sometime in the Fall.
We’ll see what all is in store for Killer Instinct when the time comes on the Iron Galaxy Twitch channel.
