Kieran Culkin and Emma Stone are reuniting. This time, it’s not in a romantic sense, but in the glimmering city of stars. Both of them have a history, dating back to 2010-2011.
Now, they’re collaborating on a new project. The film’s called “A Real Pain”. Emma’s the producer, while Kieran’s the star. He plays a man who travels to Poland after his grandmother’s death.
So, what’s it like working with an ex? Kieran spilled the beans to E! News’ The Rundown host, Erin Lim Rhodes. It happened at the Sundance premiere of the film on Jan. 20.
“She’s great,” he said. He didn’t stop there. “She’s a really wonderful person,” he added.
Kieran, now 41, thinks working with an ex isn’t all that bad. In fact, he believes it has its perks.
“Most of the time, you don’t know anyone when you start a new job,” he explained. But this time, he knew Emma. He said, “Oh, OK, well at least that part’s taken care of.”
Kieran didn’t know Jesse Eisenberg, the co-star and director. But Emma did. She vouched for him, making the process a bit easier.
