Kick out Ayade via ballot come 2019, not Abuja-based protest —US political pundit

International development expert, social entrepreneur, online publisher and political pundit, Mr Princewill Odidi, has said that anyone who is disposed to dislodging the incumbent Governor of Cross River State from Government House, Calabar, should explore the option of election instead of sponsoring Abuja-based protest NegroidHaven has garnered.
According to Odidi, Gov Ben Ayade wasn't appointed, so, sponsoring a protest in far away Abuja to remove him from office isn't feasible. He further added that political campaigns should be executed in wards and villages, mobilising the people, joining a political party, etc are options.

His words, 'Just saw a video of young people demonstrating against Ayade in Abuja. Just wondering are those kids cross riverians? They look more like street abokis. Why Abuja and not Calabar? Why a demonstration? What point are they trying to make? Anyone who wants Ayade out should challenge him in the polls.

'Instead of Abuja, open campaign offices in wards and villages, mobilize the people, join a party and vote him out. I just can’t think of a reason why demonstrate in Abuja? Ayade was not appointed so he cannot be removed. He was elected.
'Maybe someone will help me with the logic behind this. I am lost here. Why Abuja?'

Some have held the opinion that protesting against Ayade in Abuja is politics taken too far. Others have even queried whether this troubling development would have been possible in previous administrations, especially Donald Duke (1999-2007). For others, these recurrence in protest won't remove the incumbent from office.
The interesting twist to these protest is that one hardly find Cross Riverians there, a sizeable number of the protesters are Hausas based in Abuja, etc. The real faces behind the protest are behind the scenes. Hmmm!
Abuja-based protest against the governor of the state is a recent development. Why are these protest not executed in Cross River? Hmmmm!
