Sektor’s gameplay and story trailer for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns has been released. Just like with the Cyrax trailer, this latest video showcases aspects of Sektor that we haven’t seen yet compared to previous trailers.
Within this new timeline, Sektor demonstrates a fierce loyalty to Bi-Han that we did not see in the previous Mortal Kombat timelines. Regardless, Havik’s attack on Liu Kang’s timeline has seemingly resulted in the Lin Kuei allying themselves with the rest of Earthrealm for the sake of survival.
At one point during the new trailer, we see Sub-Zero going after Havik through a portal, resulting in him getting cut off from everyone else. Of course, this is likely the event that triggers Bi Han’s transformation into Noob Saibot, but we’ll likely have to wait until the Noob Saibot gameplay and story trailer to see more of that.
In terms of Sektor’s gameplay, we see more of the weapons that she’s able to employ during matches. Not only does she fire off homing missiles, but she also has some sort of firearm that shoots out rockets.
Sektor also seems to have access to some sort of stance that has her firing up her jetpack. While doing this, she automatically avoids all low attacks. In return for meter, she can reposition herself to the other side of the opponent, potentially avoid even high attacks while doing this.
Towards the end of the trailer, we get to see Sektor’s new Fatality. Ultimately, Sektor ends up flying the opponent into space, causing them to be frozen. She then burns the opponent up by flying them straight back to the ground.
Ultimately, the whole sequence feels like a violent reference to the first Iron Man movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Check it all out below:

Remember that Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot will all be available on September 24 along with the Khaos Reigns story expansion. Ghostface, the T-1000, and Conan the Barbarian will become available at later dates.
