Khaos Reigns and how to perform them

The day has finally arrived with a new chaotic era imprinting itself on the world of Mortal Kombat 1, which of course brings with it a bunch of fun new stuff to mess around with as players.

With MK1’s Khaos Reigns expansion now adding Noob Saibot, Cyrax and Sektor as playable fighters, that also means we get to see the new DLC’s second Fatality finishers and how to perform them.

As one could expect, these game enders are pretty gruesome, but also do some fun creative ideas with their unique powers.

Starting out with the shadow ninja and his funky friend, Noob rocks his opponent in the face with his clone following with an uppercut before they each grab one side of Cyrax and continue to combo her until her head is kicked through her chest like a soccer ball.

That’s certainly one way to score a goal.

Moving on to Cyrax, she’s shown skating towards Quan Chi and planting sticky bombs all on his torso before they harden and explode — leaving the necromancer a bit more stretched out than he probably likes.

This does seem pretty close to Sektor’s previous scarecrow Fatality as well as one of Frost’s from Mortal Kombat 11 with a slightly different twist on it this time.

Finally, Sektor’s second finisher is definitely our favorite of the whole bunch here, which turns her burners up to maximum.

Taking her handheld flamethrowers, she shoves the fire into Noob’s chest and basically roasts him from the inside until the flames start erupting out of his mouth and eyes.

That’s not all, however, as she then uses her weapons to fire a massive heatwave / laser that leaves a charred floor, some chunks and not much else when it’s over.

Khaos Reigns has even more new finishers to be found in the game now outside of the DLC with Animalities returning for every character as well as new Brutalities to acquire and use.

We also have the full list of patch notes available for the big Mortal Kombat 1 update if you haven’t seen them already.
