Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns is officially in the hands of the public, and though this new expansion has added a ton of new content it seems that more is on the way.
Modders have found and gained access to a new costume that is official (not a mod itself) and is apparently coming to the game very soon. Mortal Kombat: Deception Mileena is joining the other assortment of classic costumes in MK1, and now we have our first look at this upcoming skin.
Based on what I’ve found, it appears that the upcoming Deception Mileena outfit was discovered and became accessible via the Mk1hook mod that allows for various other mods to function.
Despite being made somewhat available via modding, this costume is an official one that is set to be added to the game. Those who have been sharing screenshots of this costume on Twitter also note that it is expected to drop sometime next week.
Various fans have posted their own images of this new costume on the social media platform, which as a result provides us with an excellent first look at Deception Mileena.
Screenshots from the likes of TQT1995 and Void, respectively, provide close ups and excellent angles on this upcoming skin.
Mortal Kombat: Deception released on October 4, 2004, almost 20 years ago today. In it, Mileena’s design saw her with a high ponytail, a mask hanging over her nose and mouth, a short top with long sleeves, and quite a bit of exposed skin.
Not only is this design generally celebrated by fans, but it looks as though the masses have taken a liking to the Mortal Kombat 1 remake of it as well. Comments in any thread sharing images of this upcoming Khaos Reigns skin seem to be overwhelmingly positive, and it’s understandable as this skin does indeed look great.
If it does actually release this coming week, then we’ll likely see Deception Mileena added to the Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns premium shop. At this time, the cost of this outfit is not known.
