Manchester United are heading into their mid-week Europa League fixture with Fenerbahce in high spirits after victory over Brentford this weekend.
The Red Devils will be hoping to string along a run of wins now to silence the scrutiny over their recent run of form as they start to climb the Premier League table.
However, Fenerbahce are coming into the game following a 2-2 draw with Samsunspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
The match-up between United and the Turkish side sees United face several familiar faces with ex-manager Jose Mourinho at the helm of the Super Lig side.
On the pitch, midfielders Fred and Sofyan Amrabat will be taking on their former club, with Fred netting three goals and grabbing three assists in ten games, whilst Amrabat is yet to get on the scoresheet, however, has registered one assist.

Unfortunately for Mourinho though, he will be without one of his star defenders.
Fenerbahce set to be without Jayden Oosterwolde
Dutch defender Jayden Oosterwolde is unfortunately ruled out of the match-up with United due to injury.
The 23-year-old was taken off in their match-up with Samsunspor having experienced a cruciate ligament tear. The left-back is now expected to be out for several months, potentially not getting back to the pitch until May 2025.
Speaking about how the injury has affected his line-up, Mourinho commented: “After Jayden got injured, we had to make some changes that we didn’t want. [Alexander] Dijku had to move to a different position, we put Samet [Akaydin] into the game. Since we had no more substitutions, I couldn’t put Mert [Hakan Yandas] into the game.”
It’s also understood that Irfan Can Egribayat, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Caglar Soyuncu and Ismail Yuksek could be also side-lined, missing the game.
