Kellyrae has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 9, themed “No Loose Guard,” clinching the grand prize of N100m.
The finale took place on Sunday, October 6, and marked the end of a captivating 71-day journey that saw 28 housemates battle it out for the top spot.
Kellyrae, a married housemate, made history by becoming the first to break the record of married participants winning the show.
During an interview with the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, he expressed joy for making it this far. “I’m happy to have broken this record,” he said moments before being declared the winner.
The first runner-up, Wanni, said she was surprised to make the finale.
“I never expected to be here, but now that I am, I’m ready to take over the world!” she said.
Onyeka, a lively and energetic contestant from Chekas, came in third place. She entered the house alongside her sister, Chizoba, and quickly became a fan favorite with her vibrant personality.
During the finale, fans were thrilled at the eviction night with performances by Joeboy, Qing Madi, and Odumodublvck.
The final round of evictions began with Sooj, the first to leave among the top eight, and followed by Anita, who described making it to the final list as an “achievement.”
Ozee, a lawyer and charismatic Mbadiwe twin, was the third evicted housemate.
Also, Nelly known for her stunning looks and fashion sense, was the fourth to leave the BBNaija house. Her fanbase, known as “Nellyverse,” gave her the title “The Money is Fashionable” for her style throughout the show.
Victoria, whose calm and strategic gameplay kept her till the finale, was the fifth evicted housemate. Her fanbase, the ‘VIKINGS,’ praised her competitiveness, particularly during tasks.
The ninth edition of BBNaija, which was filled with drama, friendships, and intense competition, had the housemates competing for the grand prize of N100m in the last 71days.
