There’s no shortage of fantastic fan artists in the fighting game community that can astound you with their attention to detail, but keeping things simple can be just as effective in getting their ideas across.
That’s why we love Japan’s Kaituburi, who can bring smiles to the faces of Street Fighter fans everywhere with their cute and clever illustrations and mini comics.
As such, we’ve put together some of our favorites from Kaituburi’s recent works to kick off your week right like Juri dressed up as a little reindeer at an SF6 convenience store to match Santa JP.
We also got a chuckle out of Luke’s table flip win animation, A.K.I. icing her birthday cake the only way she knows how, Dhalsim copying Cammy’s stretch and perhaps the best of them all… Colonel Sanders busting out the Amnesia counter.
Kaituburi has also been putting together celebratory pieces for big tournament winners like BST|Fuudo winning the Japan World Warrior final and most recently HB|Kawano taking the Capcom Pro Tour Japan qualifier spot.
