Juventus’ transfer strategy has come into clearer focus this Tuesday, especially regarding their interest in Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.
This update comes courtesy of Daniele Longo from Calciomercato, who has verified Juventus’ plans to seek out wide players during the January transfer window.
Although Juventus has had a reasonably good season so far, they have consistently faced challenges in terms of effectiveness in their attack.
As a solution, Juventus is looking to acquire a winger who can immediately contribute with goals and assists in the latter half of the season.
Topping the list for Juventus is Sassuolo’s skipper Domenico Berardi. Interest in Berardi isn’t new; Cristiano Giuntoli and his team had already shown an interest in him in the previous summer.
Jadon Sancho of Manchester United is another name on their radar, with expectations of him leaving on a loan this winter.
Reports have already surfaced about initial discussions between the parties, and there’s a growing belief that Manchester United might be open to loaning out the English winger.
While Berardi leads the preference due to his impressive record in Serie A, Sancho’s high wages could pose a challenge in finalizing any agreement.
Another player under Juventus’ consideration is Georgiy Sudakov from Shakhtar Donetsk. However, Juventus’ focus seems to have shifted to securing an attacker who can make an immediate impact, thus cooling their interest in the 21-year-old talent.
