Juventus have firmly set their sights on Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee.
The Old Lady are looking to the Dutch striker, with his proven experience in Serie A as a strong selling point.
Zirkzee arrived in Italy back in 2022, joining mid-table team Bologna for £23 million (€27.5 million) from Bayern Munich.
Whilst with the Serie A side, Zirkzee grabbed 14 goals and nine assists in 58 games, helping them qualify for the Champions League this year.
However, on moving to Old Trafford this summer, Zirkzee’s career has taken a bit of a hit.

So far he’s only made 17 appearances with one goal and two assists. However, his lack of match time can now be explained, with Erik ten Hag reportedly not wanting to sign the star in the first place.
To make matters worse, Zirkzee arrived at United a stone overweight, which he has taken time to lose.
However, Juventus don’t appear to be put off, with the Italian side keeping tabs on the striker.
Juventus’ new plan for Joshua Zirkzee
Initial reports claimed that Juve were looking to loan Zirkzee in January, however, new reports from Italy claim they’re now looking at a permanent move next summer.
Gazzetta dello Sport, via Calciomrcato, have reported that Juve are looking elsewhere for a stop-gap loan signing before making a permanent offer for Zirkzee at the end of the season.
The main man in focus for the short-term loan is Bayer Leverkusen’s Patrick Schick.
Juve are desperate to sign another striker in January after Arkadiusz Milik suffered an injury earlier in the season, putting all the pressure on Dusan Vlahovic.
Much like Zirkzee, Schick is proven in Serie A having played for Sampdoria. During his season with the club, Schick grabbed 13 goals and four assists in 35 games.
