Justin Wong battles another one of the best Japanese Street Fighter 3 Third Strike players this time facing TM's Q

Fighting game legend Justin Wong recently took a trip to Japan, and during his stay he took the time to get sets in with some of the best players the region has to offer. Continuing his trek through some of not only Japan’s best Street Fighter 3 Third Strike players, but the world’s, Justin released a new video showcasing his battle against one of the best Q players around right now, TM.

During one of his recent live streams, JWong went through the Third Strike match footage of him and TM and provided commentary to viewers as the set went on. With Justin being one of the most celebrated Third Strike players to ever compete, you know this match was an absolute blood bath.

Justin took on TM in a first-to-five set that even Justin Wong described as a “sweaty set.” The two really went toe-to-toe here and this is one of those bouts that fans of fighting games in general will definitely want to check out.

One of TM’s specialties is his ability to land Q’s kara throw from incredibly deceptive range. Justin shows just how strong TM is with this technique at the very start of the video, even adding a Dragon Ball Z teleport sound to the throw due to how it looks almost like Q teleports forward when he does it.

TM also excels at using Q’s taunt to power up his defense. As Justin points out, a large part of TM’s strategy is to use the first round of a game to bank three of Q’s taunts, which makes him take less damage, and he’s willing to do it even at the expense of eating a few heavy punches in neutral.

Justin, of course, uses his trademark Chun-Li throughout this match, and his hit confirms into Super Art 2 are as clean as ever here.

Last time, JWong sat down across from RX, one of the best Urien players alive. Be sure to check out that set too once you’ve watched the exciting match up below.
