Qualifier slots to enter Capcom Cup X’s Street Fighter 6 tournament are becoming increasingly scarce. Needless to say, many big names are competing to take first place at the Capcom Pro Tour 2023 US/Canada East online qualifer this weekend.
This presents us with yet another excellent opportunity to see how the meta is shaping up for Street Fighter 6. With 650 players registered to compete at this event, we’ll be looking at the characters used by the top 32 performing players.
Juri ended up being the most popular fighter this time around with five players representing her. Though Juri can be seen as a strong contender in the meta, this is still surprising since there are plenty of other characters that are generally perceived to be stronger.
Cammy also ended up being fairly popular within the top 32 portion of the bracket. In total, four players made it into the top 32 with Cammy.
However, Zangief and Blanka also saw a surprising amount of success each as there were three players for both of them in the top 32. Zangief in particular is often seen as one of the weakest characters in Street Fighter 6.
Only Rashid, Lily, E. Honda, and Jamie saw absolutely no usage in the top 32. Check out the character usage stats for the event below:
