Jurgen Klopp comments on potentially taking charge of Manchester City

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has told The Telegraph that he will not replace Pep Guardiola as the Manchester City manager in the future.

Klopp has said that he has had offers from Bayern Munich during his time at Liverpool.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss has said that he is happy at Liverpool and wants to stay at Anfield.

The German has also ruled out the prospect of him ever taking charge of Manchester City.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on Manchester City job

Klopp told The Telegraph: “Which club should I go to to have a different situation? Tell me.

“The only thing I could do is ask Pep (Guardiola) if he is sick of all that winning and I take over at City. Is that the idea? That wouldn’t work, I don’t want to do it.

“I could have gone to Bayern a few times. I could have won more titles in my life, pretty sure I would say – a good chance at least. I didn’t do it.

“I had a contract here and I never did it. The world is not full of winners. The world is full of triers, hopefully.  I try and sometimes I win together with some other people. I am happy with that.”

Title rivals

In our opinion, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is never going to manage Manchester City.

Ever.

Liverpool and Manchester City have become big title rivals in the Premier League, and are now the two appealing and most attractive teams to play for in England.

There is no way that Klopp will take charge of City.

Klopp recently signed a new contract with Liverpol and is ‘only’ 54.

Under Klopp, Liverpool have won the Premier League and the Champions League once each.

The Reds could win the Premier League and the Champions League again this season.

Liverpool fans absolutely love Klopp, who is already a legend among the Anfield faithful.
