SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Execute daily sales transactions relating to the trading of coins, granules, minted bars and semi’s sales to local and international customers.
Capture the trade/s in SAP and ensures supporting documentation is complete and filed.
Manage coin production and sales and providing a daily update to internal staff members in the organisation.
Communication to Production team – placing orders as required.
Accurate, timely and quality reporting as required. Ensure compliance to policies and procedures as it relates to the Treasury functions.
Assist the Treasury Dealer with preparation of weekly Prestige Bullion reports such as stock reports and sales reports, to be presented at the weekly production planning meeting with the SA Mint.
Obtaining investment rates from banks when required.
Preparing quotes for local customers requiring semi-fabricated products.
Organise and plan the helicopter mint trips with Logistics, FSD and SA Mint input.
Housekeeping, update spread sheets and ensure filing is up to date with supporting documentation readily available and accessible at all times.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A completed Matric qualification.
Treasury related tertiary qualification will be an advantage.
Must have at least 1 year work experience in a Treasury environment.
SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES
Computer literacy – SAP and MS Office.
High EQ – have a good understanding of people and their behaviours.
Excellent communication skills – able to communicate with retail customers on a professional and proficient manner.
Educating competency – able to educate customers the processes of dealing.
Problem solving skills – able to identify problems, find alternative solutions within the treasury framework and implement effectively.
