Description
Responsible for cost-effective feed formulation, raw material, and final product quality management on site as well as overseeing the quality management system on-site, technical support to procurement and sales departments.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
BSc. Agric (Animal Science) and/or MSc. Agric in Animal Nutrition Science
Experience will be an added advantage
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Maintain raw material and product matrices and determine quotations for raw material costs
Communicate and coordinate the cost impact of raw material restrictions
Manage feed risk data for the mill as well as the
Manage quality-related corrective and preventative actions and non-conformances
Identify and investigate current and alternative raw material opportunities
Management of laboratory staff
Management of the Quality Management System, including overseeing internal and external audits
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES
Sound technical knowledge of Animal Nutrition Science
Feed Formulation experience will be an advantage
