POSITION OVERVIEW
Based at Bloemfontein, to further strengthen our local Sales team, we are currently seeking a Junior Baker reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible for:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Bake all products with excellence.
- Train customers bakers on our products.
- Present finished goods.
- Sleep away from home.
- Work with the Sales team to build and grow the business.
- Plan and execute daily and weekly bakery production.
- Build relationships with customers.
- Create new innovative products from existing products.
- Perform under pressure during shows, presentations, and store openings.
- Calculate costings at store level.
- Apply skills by putting recipes together using baker percentage.
- Baking and working closely with the sales team to reach sales target.
JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12;
- Driver’s License;
- Experience: Minimum of 1 -2 years as a baker;
- Languages: English is a prerequisite; additional language(s) an advantage;
- Computer literacy: Office computer (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
- Other expertise: Business & result driven, strong presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills, team player, creative, innovative.
