Jose Mourinho is having a great spell in his first season at Fenerbahce, currently sitting in second place in the league.
The Turkish side are only five points behind Galatasaray, with over half the season still to go.
Unfortunately, the Europa League isn’t going as well, with Mourinho’s side sat in 21st of 36, currently lined up for the Round of 16. However, they are only one point clear of the current cut-off.
Since joining Fenerbahce, Mourinho has been reported to want to move for several Manchester United stars including Victor Lindelof and Antony.
Both these stars are likely to leave Old Trafford in the next year, with Ruben Amorim uninterested in using them in his squad.

However, it’s another United star who Mourinho is now pushing for.
Jose Mourinho wants Christian Eriksen
According to Turkish outlet, Star, has reported that Mourinho is asking the Turkish side to sign the Danish midfielder.
Christian Eriksen is coming to the end of his contract at United, with Amorim also failing to see him in the long-term plans at the club.
Fabrizio Romano recently reported that Amorim is looking for intensity in United’s playstyle, with concern that Eriksen will not be able to provide this in comparison to the club’s younger stars.
Mourinho is reportedly so keen on signing Eriksen that he’s looking at a cut-price offer to United in January instead of waiting to get him on a free transfer in the summer.
However, the report expresses that Fenerbahce are not alone in their interest. Turkish rivals Galatasaray and Eriksen’s former club Ajax are also keen on the midfielder.
With United unlikely to extend Eriksen’s contract, the 32-year-old will have to start considering where he’d like to end up next season.
