Jose Fonte is flattered being linked to Manchester United, according to ESPN. Apparently Jose Mourinho isn’t finished splashing the cash, and wants to bring in an experienced defender to United. Reports are that Mourinho will have to sell before he can buy again. Any thoughts on Fonte?
With the Portuguese able to dish out cash to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus for a world-record fee of 92 million pounds, it might be that the cash in the box is lacking right now. Although the tactician has a lot of options, maybe, just maybe; he might opt to sell some of his defenders to ensure he gets the best to kickstart his campaign this coming Sunday.
For the team, the attack and midfield is balance, but I think the defense is still shaky somehow with the likes of Luke Shaw, Smalling and Blind; what if there’s an injury along the line too.
