Jordanscosplay puts on a particularly curvaceous display during Cammy White cosplay

Along with Dee Jay, T. Hawk, and Fei Long, Cammy White made her debut video game appearance in Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers back when it was released in the arcades on September 10, 1993 in Japan and September 11, 1993 in North America.

Though Cammy was believed to be the weakest character throughout multiple iterations of Super Street Fighter 2 in which she appeared in, she ended up becoming more popular than Dee Jay, T. Hawk, and Fei Long as she is the only one among those four that appeared in all of Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 5, and Street Fighter 6.

Of course, it should be mentioned that Cammy’s chronological debut within the Street Fighter series actually happened in Street Fighter Alpha 3 back when the game was released on June 29, 1998 in both Japan and North America.

While Cammy did technically appear as a secret character in Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold and even had her own story during the arcade mode, it is said to be noncanonical to the Street Fighter lore. Regardless, Cammy was known as “Killer Bee” during the Street Fighter Alpha portion of the Street Fighter timeline.

As strange as it may seem, Cammy is apparently a clone of M. Bison. Since it was projected that M. Bison’s psycho power would eventually overwhelm his body, Cammy was slated to be M. Bison’s replacement body.

However, Cammy would escape Shadaloo and become an operative of Delta Red. Needless to say, she would become one of M. Bison and Shadaloo’s greatest enemies.

Funnily enough, Cammy would retain her preference of thong leotards going from an assassin on behalf of Shadaloo to a Delta Red operative. It’s said that this choice is due to the optimal speed, mobility, and flexibility that it provides.

Additionally, Cammy is typically known to wear a red beret, red gauntlets, red socks, and black boots as her default Delta Red outfit. She can also have green camouflage paint plastered on her legs, gun straps with holsters, or both.

However, it would appear that Jordanscosplay has taken a few creative liberties with her depiction of Cammy White during her cosplay of her. This version of Cammy neither has the camouflage paint or the gun holsters.

Additionally, Jordanscosplay appears to be wearing some black, high-heeled boots. One has to wonder how these type of boots could impact Cammy’s ability to fight. Still, it ends up being an amazing cosplay for other reasons.
