Johnson pushes ahead with reshuffle ahead of resignation

Boris Johnson is currently reshuffling his cabinet ahead of his expected resignation as prime minister.

He has appointed foreign office minister James Cleverly MP as education secretary.

Greg Clark MP, has been made levelling up, housing and communities secretary.

Clarke previously lost the Conservative whip having voted against Boris Johnson’s approach to Brexit in 2019.  It was restored shortly before the General Election.
