Specific Job Description
Prepare weekly, monthly and annual budgets.
Monitor usage and ensure accuracy of imprest account.
Control, monitor and report all expenses
Carry out revenue assurance of cash from sales, transfers and POS reconciliations.
Ensure adherence by all staff to proper cash handling procedures following the company's policies and procedures.
Process Bank deposits
Prepare Bank account reconciliation monthly.
Prepare and analyse weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business reports.
Prepare Profit and loss statements every month.
Training of associates to induct with cashing and cash handling processes.
Carry out and follow through with all tax submissions/filling or any other corporate fees
Represent the company on account and audit issues at meetings with bankers, tax regulators and other regulatory bodies.
Receive or supervise receipts of goods into the warehouse, proper posting on the software before distribution.
Carry out regular stock audits and ensure stock accuracy across all stores and departments.
Ensure distribution of stock accordingly among all branches to promote sales.
Track payments to stakeholders e.g. suppliers, investors, bank loans etc.
Prepare send and store invoices, receipts and all inventory or account records
Must be able to lead a team of 20 persons across the branches.
Prepare salary schedules monthly.
Respond to enquiries and emails relating to accounts and/or inventory.
Carry out any other duties so assigned by the management.
Role requirements desired skills and attitude
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, critical and analytical thinking, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with computers, especially MS Word and Excel.
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with emails.
Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed analytical reports.
Good interpersonal skills. A desirable level of human management or Team management skills.
Must be someone that follows a process and can demand compliance from other members of staff.
Must be ready to work on weekends (including Sunday), Public Holidays when required to.
BSc accounting, HND accounting.
Training or experience with Logistics and supply chain management is an added advantage.
Age between 21-35 years.
Must be living very close to placement (Ajibode, University of Ibadan extension) or ready to relocate before resumption or within 1-2 weeks of resumption.
Salary range (naira): 600,000 to 780,000 per annum. Bonus based on quarterly and annual target attainment.
