Did Shayne propose to Natalie Lee in season two or not? Well, he did. But that didn’t stop Shaina from expressing her feelings for him.
After Shayne and Natalie’s relationship didn’t culminate in a wedding during the finale, they decided to give love another shot. This happened off-camera, away from the prying eyes of the audience.
However, Natalie dropped a bombshell during “Love Is Blind After the Altar.” She found “flirtatious messages” between Shayne and Shaina. The messages were about “what could have been” if they had ended up together.
These direct messages were the final nail in the coffin for their romance. Natalie explained this was the reason they were no longer together.
On “After the Altar,” Shaina defended herself. She called the accusations “slander.” She told Shayne, “We’ve always been appropriate. We’ve never hung out alone.” Ironically, they were alone when she said this.
Natalie had a chat with Entertainment Tonight. She hinted that there was “a lot more” to Shayne and Shaina’s relationship that was left “on the cutting room floor.”
She acknowledged the constraints of the show, saying, “I understand, in terms of how much you can really show in these three 45-minute-long episodes.” But she had proof. She had text messages and emails from Shayne.
These messages talked about him deleting Instagram messages and DMs with Shaina. Natalie felt this information, which didn’t make the cut, would have added depth to the story.
