Meet Jimmie Allen. He’s got a story to tell.
The country singer recently made headlines. He announced the birth of his twins, Aria and Amari, with a different woman. This happened after his split from wife Alexis Gale. Now, he’s setting the record straight about his relationship timeline.
“The twins’ mother is my friend Danielle,” Jimmie revealed in a chat with Kathie Lee Gifford. This conversation was posted on YouTube on April 23. “I’ve known Danielle for years, long before I became ‘Jimmie Allen.’ When she got pregnant, I wasn’t with Lexi. Danielle wasn’t with her husband either.”
Jimmie and Alexis made a joint announcement last April. They were breaking up. They also shared they were expecting their third child together. The couple, parents to Naomi, 4, and Zara, 2, decided to give their relationship another shot. This decision came amidst the arrival of their baby boy Cohen, who’s now 5 months old.
Jimmie’s relationship with Danielle, the mother of Aria and Amari, happened during his separation from Alexis. “Life happens, whether you plan it or not,” he mused. “Danielle was pregnant first. Lexi and I weren’t together then. The twins were born first. Then Lexi and I decided to try to work on our relationship.”
