Did Shayne propose to Natalie Lee in season two? It’s a question that’s been on everyone’s lips. Shayne did pop the question, but Shaina wasn’t shy about expressing her feelings for him.
The plot thickens. Shayne and Natalie didn’t tie the knot in the finale. Instead, they decided to give their love another shot, away from the cameras.
But wait, there’s more. Natalie dropped a bombshell during Love Is Blind After the Altar. She found “flirty texts” between Shayne and Shaina. The texts were about “what could’ve been” if they’d ended up together.
This revelation led to the second downfall of Shayne and Natalie’s romance. Natalie explained, “That’s why we’re not together anymore.”
Shaina, however, had a different take. On After the Altar, she claimed it was “slander.” She told Shayne, “We’ve always been appropriate. We’ve never hung out alone.” But, ironically, they were alone at that moment.
Natalie had more to say in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. She hinted that there were more messages between Shayne and Shaina that didn’t make it to the screen.
She said, “I understand, in terms of how much you can really show in these three 45-minute-long episodes.” But she had proof. She had text messages and emails with Shayne, talking about him unsending Instagram messages, deleting messages, and those DMs with Shaina.
Natalie felt this evidence didn’t make the cut but would have added to the story.
