Jamie is perceived to be one of the weaker characters in Street Fighter 6. Still, there’s no denying that he has some really flashy sequences.
A clip posted by ArukuGames featured a match between Jamie and Guile in Street Fighter 6. Things were looking pretty bleak for Jamie as he only had a sliver of life remaining against Guile who basically had half of a life bar remaining.
As one might expect, Guile combined his Sonic Blade with his light Sonic Boom projectile to help him move forward. Guile kept himself positioned behind the attack as it slowly inched forward.
Though Jamie could’ve blocked or parried the projectile, it would’ve left him open to pressure from the Guile player. Jumping over it also wasn’t an option as Guile could simply react and easily anti-air the attempt.
Instead, Jamie chose to… taunt. This caused Jamie to fall to the ground and quickly rise back up.
By doing this, Jamie was actually able to low profile enough to completely dodge the projectile. Unfortunately, taunts can’t be cancelled in Street Fighter 6 so he was committed to fixing his hair afterwards, allowing Guile to just walk up and jab him.
