JAMB Reschedules 2025 Mock UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a change in the date for the 2025 mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

A statement signed by JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin, stated that the mock exam, initially scheduled for April 5, 2025, will now take place on April 10, 2025.

According to JAMB, the adjustment is necessary to ensure that all necessary preparations are completed, including innovations and enhancements to make the examination successful.

The change, JAMB said, was to also accommodate the increased number of examination centres for the 2025 exercise.

The main UTME is still scheduled to start on April 25, 2025. Candidates were advised to look out for an announcement regarding the printing of their mock slips, which will provide details about their examination centre.

JAMB stated that the decision is in line with global best practices and recent research on examination methodologies to optimise the mock exercise’s intended purpose.
