It's April And Justin Trudeau Still Has Parliament Locked Down To Push An Anti-Convoy Narrative

In a big picture view, what it seems like Justin Trudeau and local government officials are trying to do by having Parliament Hill still blocked off, more than a month and a half after the peaceful protest, is to develop the narrative that somehow the Canadian government is legitimately worried of “right-wing extremists,” or some other nonsense.

The theory would go: The longer the barricades stay up the more people that will believe there is a real threat coming from the freedom-loving peaceful convoy supporters.

This is exactly the same tactic President Joe Biden’s administration used after the January 6 riot. Biden had capital police and the national guard keep the capital fenced off and patrolled for months to create the impression the small group of fools who pushed their way into the capital before proceeding to aimlessly stroll around were a major threat to American democracy.
