Vovida Communications Limited is a leading communications company focused on providing next-generation voice and IT services.Responsibilities
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware or software system faults.
Install, configure, and maintain internet connection, network cabling, and other related equipment, and devices, additions or upgrades of hardware/software and configuring of wireless access point, router with wireless and related equipment.
Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate teams.
Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
Track and properly log al network system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
Implement network security and provide technical support, anti-virus updates, manage host security and other related PCs.
Visit customer site to install/configure modem/device & solve other related internet issues, follow up with clients to ensure their networks are fully functional after troubleshooting.
Come up with customers’ site survey and draw diagram, included laying cable.
Recommend, design, install, test and deliver service improvements.
Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time.
Prepare accurate and timely reports.
Minimum of CCNA Certification or equivalent experience.
Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous.
3 – 5 years experience in the telecom or similar job specification
Good and working understanding of Radio, Tx and Core LTE network
Knowledge of TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, ADSL, DNS Networking, Cisco Router, and Switch are an advantage
Customer Support Experience.
Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
Creatively solve problems.

Customer handling and inter-personal skills.
Strong planning, organising and prioritising abilities.
Ability to cope with change and adapt quickly.
