At Elegoo, we focus on making 3D printing accessible to everyone, not just pros. While we have industrial-grade printers like the Orangestorm Giga, we see 3D printers becoming as common and essential as robot vacuums or drones.

We also integrate AI into products like our best-selling Saturn 4 Ultra. It’s equipped with AI camera detection, enabling real-time monitoring and recording of the printing process, providing added convenience and control.

At Elegoo, our focus is on the consumer market, but it’s exciting to see that our products are also being used by major corporations in sectors like healthcare and aerospace. For example, in the healthcare sector, our high-precision resin 3D printers like the Saturn and Mars series are being used to produce detailed dental models, including those for orthodontics, in a much faster and more cost-effective way.
What are some lesser-known applications of 3D printing that you believe will gain traction shortly?
One lesser-known application of 3D printing is in the food industry, where some users are using our resin printers to create intricate molds for chocolate, an innovative and creative use of the technology.
Another area gaining traction is fashion or fashion tech. At this year’s Formnext in Frankfurt, we had the pleasure of hosting Anouk Wipprecht, a renowned Dutch designer and engineer, who debuted her robotic, open-source Scale Dress. The dress featured 3D printed parts made with our Neptune series printers, allowing for customization. It was a great example of how 3D printing is increasingly making its mark in the fashion world.
What future trends do you anticipate will shape the landscape of 3D printing over the next five years?
Key trends include faster printing speeds, larger print sizes, more diverse materials, and smarter functionalities. At Elegoo, we’re focused on smart technology, leveraging AI and IoT to streamline operations and improve user experience. What partnerships or collaborations is Elegoo currently pursuing to advance its technology or expand its market reach?
Last year, we achieved a significant milestone by reaching approximately 200 million USD in revenue, marking a new chapter in our global expansion. We also took another step towards environmental stewardship by partnering with One Tree Planted. Through this initiative, we’ve donated thousands of dollars to support global reforestation efforts, further reinforcing our commitment to a greener planet.
At this year’s Formnext, we launched the ELEGOO With Her Women empowerment program. In collaboration with our software and material partners, we aim to empower more women and girls to get involved in 3D printing.
