Manchester United have recently revealed their initial plan with offloading some first team players in order to raise funds for their ongoing efforts this transfer season.
United have seven players on their cull list, with the hope of the combined total for Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Casemiro, Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, Christian Eriksen and Antony will reach around £200 million.
Despite these seven making the sell list, only six of the other squad members are marked us ‘untouchable’ this summer, with Andre Onana, Lisandro Martinez, Diogo Dalot, Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Hojlund all set to remain at the club.
So, that leaves everyone else as essentially free to go for the right price.
There are also another four players though who United may be looking to prioritise selling in the form of Scott McTominay, Amad Diallo, Willy Kambwala and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with all four now entering the final year of their contract.
Unless any contract renewals take place, this summer will be the last chance for United to receive a transfer fee for the players, rather than clubs directly negotiating contracts for moves on a free transfer.
According to Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb, one of these individuals may edging closer to leaving Old Trafford.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been the subject of interest from Serie A for a while, with Inter Milan having the right-back very firmly on their radar.
Inter have reportedly proposed a €12 million offer for the 26-year-old, however this falls short of the €20 million asking price placed on the defender by United.
The Serie A giants are reportedly extremely keen to bring Wan-Bissaka to Milan, with the Italian club ready to offer him a three year contract worth €2.7 million per season, which could increase if the deal was to go ahead as a free transfer.
Ultimately United are going to try and gain some funds from losing Wan-Bissaka, so Inter will either need to increase their offer this summer, or pray that no-one else matches the asking price.
So far this plan of Inter’s is most likely to be affected by Galatasaray who have identified the 26-year-old as their prime right-back target this summer.
