Job Description
Input in Strategic Presentations:
- Consistent support for the marketing team with Data & Analytics to answer business questions for strategic reports and presentations (12Q, Phoenix, 10-year projection, etc.) through the triangulation of the data sources.
Data Driven Decision Making:
- Champion the coordination and execution of the DDDM Learning Journey (webinars and masterclasses) for Nigeria; including taking on the lead facilitator role for the 3rd wave. Three waves have been concluded so far.
iSearch Analytics:
- Led the onboarding and training of the commercial team, and drove the adoption & usage of the platform and one-on-one support for platform users in 2023.
Automation of Business Reporting:
- Initiated the automation of business reports in Power BI dashboards to scale the efficiency (reduced manual effort) of reporting; training and support on the use of internal and external data tools & platforms in February 2024.
- Delivery of monthly and quarterly business reports to the commercial team for all business categories – MBR, BPMS, Monthly penetration tracker, etc.
Data tools and Platforms:
- Support the commercial team with access to and navigation of internal and external data tools and platforms – Euromonitor, Kantar WPO, Eeezy portal, CPR/iSearch, etc.
Data Governance:
- Support I.T. business analysts with the DDDM Model evaluation to evaluate and track the Data & Analytics Maturity level for Nigeria (marketing).
Growth Recovery Strategy:
- Support stakeholders with insights to develop strategies for recovering our market share across all our categories – analyzing competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, pricing strategies, and market positioning, guiding strategic adjustments.
- Manage Internal sensory tests and analysis to support product development or reengineering, in order to win in trade.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree / HND in relevant fields – Marketing, Social Science, etc.
- Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
- 10+ years in relevant fields in insights and consumer marketing management in FMCG
- Highly developed analytical/conceptual and problem-solving skills to build and present strategies, commercial/marketing plans, financial impact scenarios, and control measures.
- Strong insight background with the ability to make data-driven decisions and convert insights to strategy
- Deep understanding of economic realities of delivering and practical winning ways in a VUCA(Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) environment
- Knowledge of regional and cultural nuance in Nigeria
- Proficient in English
